The latest pair of true wireless earbuds have been described as Airpods Pro 2 for gamers. The Hammerhead Pro Hyperspeed is the 5th pair to be released by the company, in a strategy to level up gaming.

They feature a 10mm driver in each bud, with a frequency response of 20Hz – 20kHz, and a slightly smaller than the 11mm drivers that are found on Apple’s Airpods Pro 2. These new wireless earbuds also come with a THX Certified Audio seal of approval, which Razer says it means they’ve met many standards in “real-world listening environments” to attain the “gold standard of all audio certifications.”

They also come with an almost lag-free, low-latency wireless connection using the Hyperspeed 2.4GHz dongle, which uses a USB-C connection and can connect to a PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch and most Android phones and tablets. Users can also use Bluetooth 5.3 if they choose to connect them to an iPhone or iPad.

These wireless buds also feature adaptive active noise cancelling, which can be adjusted through the companion app, and an IPX4 water resistance rating, meaning they will survive a rain shower.

Coming with some RGB lighting as well, and features full Chroma RGB customisation, with an illuminated Razer logo on each bus.

By turning this on it will impact battery life, however it has been reported these come with around 3 hours of use, or up to 11 hours with the battery case on the Hyperspeed dongle connection, or 3.5 hours and 13 hours with the charging case using Bluetooth.
