Launched in 2010, Yamaha says its high end AVENTAGE Series is regarded as the leading AV receiver brand in Australia.
The new high end Series V receivers have a new 21st century edge as the AVENTAGE series celebrates its 5th birthday, kitted out with all connectivity options for the mobile era.
The new AVENTAGE V receivers now come with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, compatibility with streaming services Pandora and Spotify Connect, HTC smartphones Connect music, and controlled via tablet or phone with AV Connect app.
The AV boxes also has high-resolution audio streaming with FLAC and Apple Lossless, Apple AirPlay, supports the new HDMI standard for 4K Ultra HD and has virtual surround sound with 5 speakers in front.
The new V series has new configuration options, from Zone 2, to Zone B HDMI, to Zone 3 and Zone 4 HDMI.
The new AVENTAGE’s start at $1299 (90W x 7) to $2799 for ultra powerful (150W x 9) RX-A3040. The entry level model is on sale now and the others go on sale late July/ August.

Yamaha are also staying true to their musical roots – the AV receivers are engineered for Natural Sound reproduction – with optimally-arranged circuits, components and exhaustive tuning, signature A.R.T. (Anti-Resonance Technology) Wedge known as the 5th foot, aids in vibration control. There are also enhancements to the internal chassis on higher end V models.
All the V series have a beautiful aluminium fascia which shields internal circuitry from external noise.
V series comes in Black, or with the option of a Titanium finish for RX-A1040 and RX-A3040 models only, which cost $1899 and $2799 respectively.
AVENTAGE Series V comes with a 4 year warranty (12 month replacement warranty) applicable to all AV receivers, and a 2 year (2 month replacement) warranty for the BD-A1040 Universal Disc Player.
