Pixel 4XL Imitates Samsung Galaxy S10 In Leaked Render

It appears Google may be seeking to emulate Samsung’s latest flagship the Galaxy S10 with a hole punch camera as well as dual-rear cameras in a leaked render.

According to a photo posted on SlashLeaks, the Pixel 4 XL may have two cameras on the back, instead of the sole camera included on both the Pixel 2 XL and 3 XL.

As other phone manufacturers continue to add more and more lenses to their devices, Google has insisted on one camera for its flagships,

Instead, the tech company opted for AI and machine learning to shoot photos that measure up to (and in certain cases above) its rival smartphones with dual camera systems — e.g. the iPhone XS or the triple camera system on the Huawei P20 Pro.

These leaks indicate that that stance may be shifting.

And in the place of the Pixel 3XL’s expansive notch, which Samsung US once mocked, this image indicates that it will be notchless.

In addition, the drawing shows an oval hole-punch dual selfie camera, near identical to the recently released Samsung Galaxy S10.

Interestingly, the leaked image does not reveal a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device, leading many to speculate that it will have an in-screen sensor, like the Galaxy S10 again.

However, while all of this information is titillating it has not been verified and Google has yet to make any comment on its upcoming flagship.
