Panasonic Targets Premium Creators With New LUMIX L10 Compact Camera and AI Editing Upgrades
Panasonic has unveiled a new premium compact camera aimed at photographers and content creators, while also rolling out major upgrades to its LUMIX Lab mobile app and S9 mirrorless camera platform.
The new LUMIX L10 combines Panasonic’s flagship 4/3 sensor technology with a fixed LEICA 24-75mm F1.7–2.8 lens, positioning it as a high-end alternative to compact street and travel cameras from Fujifilm, Sony and Leica.
The L10 features the same imaging sensor platform used in Panasonic’s flagship G9II and GH7 cameras, alongside Phase Hybrid Autofocus with AI-powered subject recognition and support for REAL TIME LUT colour grading directly in-camera.

Panasonic Australia Product Marketing Manager Aaron Waters said the company designed the camera to deliver “beautiful images, straight out of camera” with intuitive handling and premium construction.
The 508-gram camera includes a magnesium alloy front body, manual aperture ring and a free-angle OLED display aimed at creators shooting both stills and short-form video.
To mark the 25th anniversary of the LUMIX brand, Panasonic will release the camera in black, silver and a limited titanium gold special edition featuring exclusive accessories and customised software styling.

Australian pricing starts at $2,599 for the black and silver editions, available from June. The titanium gold model will retail for $2,999 and launch exclusively via Panasonic Australia’s online store in July.
Alongside the hardware launch, Panasonic confirmed a major update to its LUMIX Lab mobile app, adding free RAW photo editing, LUT creation tools and smartphone-based slow-motion video editing.
The update also introduces direct camera firmware updates through the app and expanded REAL TIME LUT support for the full-frame LUMIX S9, with firmware scheduled for release in June.
