OZ Post Refusing To Ship Soundbars Due To Size & Shape Issues

Australia Post whose service is widely used by CE retailers and suppliers is refusing to deliver soundbars due to size and weight issues.

This has resulted in sound bar manufacturers and retailers ranging soundbars on their web sites having to use alternative delivery Companies.

According to one retailer “Soundbars are a pain in the backside to ship, they are an odd size, and some models ship with a separate subwoofer”.

Phil Newton the CEO of UK audio Company Bowers and Wilkins said “Shipping sound bars is a problem due to Australia Post issues. We have to use a separate freight Company”.

At this stage Australia Post has not commented.
