Oppo’s F3 and F3 Plus Leak Ahead Of Reveal
Oppo’s next two smartphones have been accidentally revealed online, with the webpage for the devices going live ahead of schedule.
Branded the F3 and F3 Plus, the Chinese smartphone company are again emphasizing the selfie-side of things. Both devices will feature dual-front cameras (one packing 8-megapixels and the other 16-megapixels) as well as a rear shooter (specs unknown).
It’s at this time unlikely that the phone will feature the 5x camera tech that Oppo talked up at last month’s MWC in Barcelona.
Beyond that, the F3 Plus look to offer some more grunt and real-estate than the recent R9S. It’s got a 6-inch 1080p coated in Gorilla Glass 5 and a hefty 4000mAh battery.
In terms of processing power, it’s packing a Snapdragon 653 quad-core unit, plus 4GBs of RAM and 64GBs of storage space.
Noticeably, it’ll still run on Android 6.0 via Color OS. So if you’re holding out for Nougat features, you’re out of luck.
The company have even thrown together a cheery ad-spot for the range, see below.
The official web-page for the F3 Plus has since been taken down but expect it to return before the week is up.
Australian availability and pricing are not yet known.
