Oppo has officially introduced the Magnetic Halo Flash Light, a compact lighting accessory built for mobile photographers, vloggers and livestreamers who need improved illumination on the go. The device is now available for pre order through the Oppo Store in China. It connects to select Oppo smartphones through Bluetooth and integrates directly with the native camera app for quick and seamless control.

Compact Ring Design with Magnetic Attachment

The Magnetic Halo Flash Light comes in a Silver White finish and features a circular ring design that keeps the overall footprint small. It folds to a thickness of less than 18 millimetres and weighs only 52 grams, which makes it easy to carry during travel or outdoor shoots. Oppo has equipped the accessory with a strong magnetic attachment system that supports both compatible Oppo smartphones and iPhones. The light powers on automatically when magnetically attached, and the hinge mechanism offers 180 degree stepless rotation for flexible positioning during selfies, video calls or hands free shooting.

Dual Function Lighting and Advanced Controls

The device features a dual function lighting setup that lets users switch between flash and continuous fill light. It supports 8 levels of manual brightness adjustment and provides three levels of colour temperature ranging from 3000 Kelvin to 9000 Kelvin. When paired with compatible Oppo phones, it also enables stepless brightness control directly from the camera app.

In fill light mode, the unit delivers up to 200 lux brightness at a distance of 0.5 meter with a maximum output power of 3.6 watts. For flash photography it can produce a burst of up to 2200 lux at the same distance. Oppo says the light can deliver up to 700 flash bursts, with approximately 400 usable shots when both pre flash and main flash are activated.

Battery Life and Durability

The Magnetic Halo Flash Light includes a 500 milliamp hour battery that supports up to 40 minutes of continuous fill light operation. It charges through a USB Type C port and can operate continuously while plugged into a power source such as a power bank. The accessory is built with a combination of PC and ABS plastics along with high carbon steel components for added durability.
