Oppo is set to shake up Australia’s premium smartphone market with the launch of its new Find X9 and Find X9 Pro.

Both arriving on 6 November, the new flagship range brings next-generation camera technology, powerful performance and long-lasting battery life to Australian consumers.

At the heart of the Find X9 Series is Oppo’s partnership with iconic camera brand Hasselblad.

The Find X9 Pro headlines with a 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto camera – a first for Oppo – featuring a 1/1.56-inch sensor, ultra-fast f/2.1 aperture and Active Optical Alignment for sharper, more detailed shots.

It’s joined by an upgraded 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT828 sensor with Real-Time Triple Exposure technology that captures remarkable detail across light and shadow.

The standard Find X9 isn’t far behind, boasting a trio of 50MP cameras including a Sony LYT808 main sensor and LYT600 periscope telephoto lens.

Both models deliver 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR video and support professional LOG recording with ACES certification.

Under the hood, Oppo’s new Dimensity 9500 3nm chipset promises improved performance and efficiency, backed by enormous batteries – 7025mAh in the Find X9 and 7500mAh in the Pro.

Charging is also impressive, with 80W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless flash charging.

Oppo claims the phones retain over 80% battery capacity even after five years due to its third-generation silicon-carbon tech.

Both models feature premium flat-edge designs, ultra-thin bezels and 120Hz AMOLED displays that peak at 3600 nits. Durability also gets an upgrade, with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Running on ColorOS 16, the series offers AI-enhanced tools like AI Mind Space, AI Recorder, and improved cross-device integration through O+ Connect.

Available at JB Hi-Fi, the Oppo Find X9 Pro (16GB + 512GB) will retail for $2,299, while the Find X9 (12GB + 512GB) lands at $1,799.

A Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit, exclusive to Oppo Australia’s online store, will be available for $699.
