Opera Becomes First Alternative Browser For Chromebooks

Opera has announced it will be the first third-party browser optimised especially for use on Chromebooks.

As with other versions of the browser, Opera for Chromebooks will feature a crypto wallet, various themes, a built-in VPN, ad-blocker, and cookie blocker.

It is based heavily on the company’s Opera For Android, and will feature proper keyboard shortcuts and trackpad support.

Opera for Chromebooks is available as a free download on the Google Play Store.
