OLED TV Price War Panasonic 55″ Cut To $1,986

An OLED TV price war has broken with a 55” OLED TV being slashed to sub $2,000 at Harvey Norman

This the big retailer was advertising a 55” OLED TV from leading Japanese brand Panasonic for $1,986.
A similar Sony model is currently selling for $3,198 some $1,212 more expensive than the similar featured Panasonic model.

The LG 55” OLED TV was priced at $2798, while the less featured Hisense 55” OLED TV was selling at $2,495 some $509 over the Panasonic deal.

The price war comes ahead of CES 2019 when it’s expected that several new OLED models featuring new technology will be released.

On Friday German TV brand Loewe was offering a Bild 3.65 OLED at $6,999 along with a free Bild 1. Full HD TV in an effort to clear stock ahead of new 2019 models.
