Officeworks Cuts Prices On More Than 400 More Products In New Discount Push
Officeworks has launched a second major round of permanent price cuts this year, reducing prices across more than 400 additional products as Australian households and small businesses continue to battle cost-of-living pressures.
The latest discounts build on the retailer’s February pricing overhaul, which permanently reduced prices on more than 1,000 items across its stores and online platform.
The new wave of cuts covers office furniture, stationery, office supplies and technology accessories, with Officeworks positioning the move as part of a longer-term value strategy rather than a short-term sales promotion.
Among the products receiving price reductions are the Pago Enduro Heavy Duty Ergonomic Chair, now priced at $329 down from $399, the Otto Kronborg Curved Desk reduced to $139 from $169, and a range of lower-cost stationery items including pens and whiteboard packs.

Officeworks Managing Director John Gualtieri said customers were becoming increasingly deliberate with spending decisions amid continued pressure from higher living costs and business expenses.
“With interest rates and everyday costs continuing to put pressure on household and business budgets, customers are looking for dependable value on the products they use most,” Gualtieri said.
“We’re seeing customers shop more intentionally – purchasing more frequently but keeping a closer eye on what goes into each basket.”

The retailer is also targeting small business customers through its Officeworks for Business program, which offers registered users an additional 5% discount on eligible already-reduced products.
Officeworks said OnePass members will also continue to receive free delivery benefits across eligible purchases through participating Wesfarmers brands.
The expanded pricing push comes as major Australian retailers increasingly compete on value amid softer consumer spending and heightened sensitivity around discretionary purchases, particularly in categories tied to home offices, study and workplace upgrades.
