Nothing Confirms Phone 4b Launch Date And Reveals More Design Details
Nothing has officially ended speculation surrounding its next budget-friendly smartphone, confirming that the device will arrive as the Phone 4b and unveiling when consumers can expect its global debut.
The company announced that the new handset will be launched on 7 July, with availability planned for both India and international markets. Confirmation came through Nothing’s social media channels and a dedicated launch page published ahead of the event.
Alongside the announcement, Nothing released a fresh design preview that offers a clearer look at the upcoming device. The latest sketch suggests the Phone 4b may feature a more advanced camera system than earlier rumours indicated.
Previous teasers had led some observers to believe the handset would include a single rear camera. However, the newly revealed design points towards a multi-camera arrangement. The imagery shows a vertically aligned, pill-shaped camera housing positioned inside a larger rectangular camera island on the rear panel.

The size of the module suggests space for multiple imaging sensors, although Nothing has yet to confirm the exact camera specifications.
Another pill-shaped section appears beside the camera assembly and is expected to contain the LED flash and additional hardware, potentially including an autofocus sensor.
The design also highlights a horizontal strip running across part of the camera island. The element bears similarities to the lighting accents seen on previous Nothing devices, particularly the Phone 4a. However, the company has not revealed whether the strip will function as an illuminated notification feature or serve purely as a design detail.
Nothing has built much of its brand identity around distinctive industrial design and transparent-inspired aesthetics, helping its smartphones stand out in a crowded Android market. The Phone 4b appears set to continue that approach while targeting consumers looking for a more affordable alternative to the company’s flagship models.
With the launch now only weeks away, additional specifications and pricing details are expected to emerge before Nothing formally unveils the device on 7 July.
