Nintendo Reinvent Favourite Wii Sports For Switch

It’s time to get back to the physical fun the Nintendo Wii served up – often literally – with Wii Sorts, with the company bringing back some of the classic games in a new game called Nintendo Switch Sports.

Do some stretches and get ready to play tennis, bowling and chambara again, along with new additions with soccer, badminton and volleyball.

Like with the old-school Wii, the game will use the Switch’s detachable Joy-Con controllers to track your movement while playing.

It’s set to launch April 29, though there’ll an online play test February 18-20 if you have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

Updates will also be coming later in the year, with one adding a leg-strap accessory for soccer shootouts.

Golf will also be added later in the year.
