New Philips 6000 Series 4K TVs Now In Oz

Two new, affordable Philips 6000 series TVs are now available in Australia at The Good Guys – the 50-inch ($599) and 55-inch ($699). Both models offer 4K Ultra HD to provide better contrast, brighter colour and a sharper picture.

Philips’ Pixel Precise Ultra HD converts input picture into vibrant UHD resolution, so viewers can enjoy a sharp yet fast-moving image. The micro dimming software analyses the picture in 6400 zones and adjusts brightness accordingly for optimal contrast, with blacker blacks and whiter whites.

4K Ultra HD offers four times the resolution of traditional Full HD, with over 8 million pixels and Ultra Resolution Upscaling technology. They also offer advanced processing power, with a quad core processor.

As a Smart TV, the Philips 6000 series TVs come with popular smart apps including Netflix, YouTube, and Internet Browser. The SAPHI operating system is fast and intuitive, allowing you to quickly and easily adjust settings and utilise SimplyShare, MultiRoom Client and USB recording, along with a host of other features.

These models have an ultra slim profile, for a sleek and modern look, at just 85.9mm thick. The TVs come with a stand but are also compatible with a 200 x 200 mm wall mount.
