New HQ For Vodafone

Vodafone has signed an agreement to lease a new North Sydney building for its national corporate headquarters, with the telco to occupy eight floors at the Pacific Highway building.

With the move announced today, Vodafone chief financial officer James Marsh stated that a “fit-out will be completed over coming months”.

All Sydney-based corporate employees, including technology, marketing, finance and human resources functions, will move into the new office before the end of the year.

“We are very pleased to have secured an agreement to lease 10,000 square metres of office space over eight floors at this state-of-the-art building,” Marsh commented.

“The move to this new building will see us bring together more than one thousand employees, currently located at our existing North Sydney and Chatswood offices, into the one workspace.

“Over the past 18 months, Vodafone has achieved solid growth across the board, including in revenue and customer numbers, and the new building represents a next step in our journey. The prominent building-top signage will become part of the North Sydney skyline in another signal that Vodafone is back.”

Vodafone director of human resources Michael Stanley stated that “at the heart” of the move to the new office space is a “commitment to attracting and retaining the best employees”.

“Using design-thinking principles driven by our employees, we are creating a new space which is a living embodiment of our values, and encourages increased collaboration, productivity and innovation,” Stanley commented.
