New Arlo Spotlight Camera To Release In Oz November

Arlo’s new Essential XL Spotlight Camera is set to release in Australia next month.

Featuring a battery that can run for a year on a single charge, an integrated spotlight with colour vision, 1080p recording, and a built-in siren, the wireless camera sits at the top end of Arlo’s Essential range.

According to Brad Little, Vice President & Managing Director APAC at Arlo, the wireless Essential series is both affordable and easy to install.

“The Essential XL Spotlight camera highlights the collection, enabling continuous security and peace of mind with extended battery life.

“Perfect for installing in hard to access or busy locations, the Essential XL Spotlight camera offers homeowners up to 12 months of battery on a single charge for added convenience, whether it’s serving as a standalone solution or complementing an existing Arlo ecosystem,” he said.

Essential XL Spotlight customers will also receive a three-month free trial of the Arlo Smart subscription service, which can store up to 30 days of video recordings in the cloud.

The Arlo Essential XL Spotlight Camera will retail starting next month for $279 AUD per camera, a markup of around $70 over the converted US price of $149.99 USD (approx. $210 AUD). There is no word as yet on when the entry-level Essential Camera will be released here.
