Moto Online Store To Go Live In Oz, Moto G4 Plus And Moto 360 2nd Gen Launching

Motorola is launching an online store in Australia, with the Moto Online Store set to go live next week.

Motorola describes the store, which will go live on July 15, as “a place where you can get any Moto product available in Australia”.

The Moto G4 Plus smartphone and Moto 360 2nd Gen smartwatch (which are launching in Australia from July 9 and July 13, respectively – see below) will be the first products offered via the store.

The full range of Moto products on sale in Australia will become available through the store in the coming months, along with supporting accessories, such as interchangeable backs for the G4 Plus and interchangeable straps for the Moto 360, with all models sold via the store to have the same pricing as channel partners.

“Moto Online Store makes it as easy as possible to stock up on the full catalogue of Australian Moto products in all colours and configurations, sold directly by Motorola Australia with full product warranty and support,” Motorola states.

When making a purchase via the store, consumers will be able to select the “Click to Buy” button, providing a drop-down list of purchase options, including channel partners or the Moto Online Store.

Motorola states that distribution, logistics, call centre and management for the store will be handled in Australia, with the central warehouse located in Sydney.

Same state metro deliveries typically will arrive in one to two business days, with same state regional and rural deliveries taking up to five business days, while interstate metro deliveries typically will arrive in three to six business days, and delivery times for regional and rural interstate may vary based on location.

The store can be found here.
