Marshall has introduced a new Cream colour option for its flagship Heston 120 soundbar, bringing a fresh look to the company’s premium home entertainment range.

The new finish adds a lighter alternative to the soundbar’s original design while retaining the distinctive styling inspired by Marshall’s legendary guitar amplifiers.

Available now in Australia for $1,799, the Cream Heston 120 features the same textured grille, knurled control knobs and leather-look trim that give the soundbar its signature rock ‘n’ roll appearance.

The new colourway is aimed at consumers looking for a premium soundbar that makes a visual statement rather than disappearing beneath the television.

Beyond the cosmetic changes, the Heston 120 retains its 5.1.2-channel audio system, with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS immersive surround sound.

The soundbar features 11 individually amplified drivers, including five full-range drivers, two mid-woofers, two tweeters and two built-in subwoofers, powered by 11 Class D amplifiers.

Four passive radiators help extend bass performance, while upward-firing and side-firing drivers are designed to create a wider soundstage and deliver overhead audio effects without requiring additional surround speakers.

Marshall claims the Heston 120 delivers a peak output of 150 watts, a frequency response of 40Hz to 20kHz and a maximum sound pressure level of 95dB.

Despite its retro-inspired appearance, the Heston 120 includes a comprehensive range of modern connectivity features.

HDMI eARC allows the soundbar to connect directly to compatible televisions, while a separate HDMI input supports 4K video passthrough at up to 120Hz, making it suitable for gaming consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Dolby Vision passthrough is also supported, alongside RCA stereo inputs, Ethernet, USB-C and a dedicated subwoofer output for users wanting to add more bass.

Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, with Auracast support for compatible devices.

The soundbar also doubles as a wireless music system, supporting Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, as well as internet radio.

Marshall has included four listening modes to tailor the audio experience to different types of entertainment.

Movie Mode is designed to enhance cinematic sound, while Music Mode optimises playback for music. Voice Mode prioritises dialogue clarity, and Night Mode reduces loud effects for quieter listening sessions.

Users can make further adjustments through the Marshall app, which provides equaliser controls and room calibration using the soundbar’s built-in microphones.

Physical controls remain a major part of the Heston 120’s appeal, with dedicated knobs for volume, bass and treble, allowing users to make adjustments without reaching for their smartphone.

The new Cream finish follows Marshall’s recent expansion of colour options across its audio portfolio, including the Milton A.N.C headphones and the Kilburn III and Emberton III portable speakers.

The move reflects Marshall’s continued emphasis on combining distinctive design with modern audio technology, giving customers more ways to match its products with their home interiors.

The Marshall Heston 120 in Cream is available now in Australia for $1,799 through the company’s official online store.
