Macquarie Move To Sack Staff & Close Equities Operation
Macquarie spin doctors have failed to reveal that the Australian Company that will today hold their annual Macquarie Equities gab fest is moving to sack staff and close down one of their major international offices.
The Company that is set to spruik a new streaming service called iFlix at todays event has moved to shut down its equity sales, trading and research businesses in Canada. Also speaking at today’s event is Richard Murray CEO of JB Hi Fi as well as executives from Coles and wesfarmers.
A Macquarie spokesperson would not comment on how many jobs have been impacted but ChannelNews believes that more than 120 people have been given a pink slip.
The Company that is known for only dealing with select media is the same Company that is looking to flog second hand phones along with a cheap SIM that operates on the Telstra network.
