German Company Loewe has announced a new  addition to its premium OLED TV lineup with the roll out of a 97″ Stellar TV complete with a stone concrete back panel that sets it apart from other TV brands.

Distributed by Indi Imports in Australia Loewe already has 42-, 48-, 55-, 65-, 77- and 83 display models on sale via The Good Guys, Harvey Norman and several specialist AV retailers, with those looking for that seriously premium TV now able to access a top end large sized TV that has a premium aluminium chassis and brushed aluminium bezel as well as a premium  4K WOLED panel.

Those looking for a minimalistic stylish look can also take advantage of a concealed connection panel with cable management built in.

There is also a hidden wall-mounting bracket which allows users to mount their TV flush against a wall for a really flush look.

As for specs the German Company has chosen Hisense’s VIDA OS over WebOS and Samsung’s Tizen, also built in is support for Dolby Vision IQ with their Loewe OS9 used to deliver Netflix, Disney Plus and Apple TV+, and cloud gaming applications such as Blacknut and Boosteroid.

Like the Samsung and LG TV’s there is also an art mode for displaying artwork.

The Company has also stuck with a 4K WOLED display over Micro LED being used by several competitors in the large TV market.

Another unique feature is what’s been labelled the magic. Light system also built in is support for Dolby Vision IQ.

Basically, this is a light bar that is concealed along the bottom edge of the TV for an ambient glow, and it can be customised with a range of different colours.

The system is also different to the Philips’ Ambilight system, in that it does not change colour depending on what’s happening on the display or being streamed.

Pricing for Australia has not been announced along with shipping dates for the Australian market.
