LG To Reveal Next Flagship Smartphone In June

Recent reports reveal LG will unveil its next flagship smartphone in June, following its decision to scale back smartphone releases from yearly, to ‘as-needed’.

According to VentureBeat, LG is currently developing its next flagship device, codenamed ‘Judy’. The smartphone will not form part of its G-series.

‘Judy’ will feature an 18:9 aspect ratio, and LG’s renowned ‘Full Vision’ style display.

New AI advancements in ‘Voice and Vision’ will likely be included, following debut within LG’s upgraded V30 smartphone, set to be unveiled at MWC this month.

The new smartphone will, however, incorporate a new ‘MLCD+’ display – claimed to offer brightness (800nits) with lower power consumption (decrease of 35% vs standard IPS LCD).

LG’s forthcoming flagship is tipped to feature a Snapdragon 845 processor, dual rear cameras (f/1.6 aperture), 4GB storage and 64GB of internal storage.

Stereo speakers which support HDR10, durable exterior and wireless charging will also reportedly be included.
