LG Announce New UltraGear Gaming Monitors

LG have lifted the lid on the next generation of their flagship UltraGear gaming monitors, with the promise of the latest display tech, connectivity features and premium responsiveness. Like the previous generation, two of the three new UltraGear Gaming monitors boast VESA certification, keeping them at the top of the market.

LG UltraGear 32GQ950

The flagship monitor, the 32GQ950 makes use of a 4K Nano IPS display with Advanced True Wide (ATW) Polarizer technology. The monitor is the first of LGs 4K models to implement ATW tech, which ensures unparalleled visuals with bold bright and accurate colours and deep dark blacks across a wide viewing angle. Paired with VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, a 1ms response time, a massive 1,000 nits of brightness and 98% DCI-P3 coverage, it provides a truly premium gaming experience.

LG UltraGear 32GQ850

The next model in the line-up, the 32GQ850 is the first OLED gaming monitor from LG. It is the fastest model of the lot, with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time, which alongside a 1440p QHD Nano IPS panel and ATW Polarizer tech, provides gamers with the best combination of responsiveness and stunning visuals.

LG UltraGear 48GQ900

The largest model in the new range is the 48GQ900, which boasts 4K UHD resolution, a miniscule 0.1ms response time, HDR 10 and LG’s anti-glare low reflection (AGLR) coating. The entertainment powerhouse of the three, the 48GQ900 comes with a remote control, making it perfect for console and couch gaming.

The new range will be released this month in Japan, but LG say that other markets will follow. Specific specs can be found below.
