Lenovo’s CES 2021 Consumer Products Include A 5G Laptop, Yoga Desktop & Three Legion Notebooks

Lenovo has unveiled a suite of consumer product launches for the virtual CES 2021.

This year, Chinese-based brand Lenovo will be launching new generation laptops in the Legion family, a new Lenovo Tab directed at kids, a 5G-compatible IdeaPad and a Yoga Desktop.

The biggest launch in the consumer sector is Lenovo’s IdeaPad 5G, the company’s first notebook/detachable tablet with 5G support.

The IdeaPad 5G is an ultra-light, sub-1.2kg notebook with a 14-inch screen, 20 hours of battery life and an incredible ‘fanless’ design.

Specs-wise, the IdeaPad 5G is powered by a Qualcomm 8CX 5G chip, IR camera support, 100% sRGB and 90% screen ratio and ships with a sleek and stylish clamshell design.

Lenovo Australia says that ‘local pricing and availability to be confirmed’ for the IdeaPad 5G.

Next is the Lenovo Tab P11, an 11-inch detachable tablet with quad speakers, persistent stereo sound with is optimised with Dolby Atmos.

The Tab P11 is designed for education – with 15-hour battery life, zero-touch login and background blur for video chats, as well as learn-from-home apps such as Google Kids Space and Precision Pen 2.

With an aluminium dual-tone design, the Tab P11 is powered by a Snapdragon 600 series with up to 6GB of RAM.

Lenovo says the Tab P11 will hit stores in Australia in May for AUD $549.

Lenovo also introduced an all-new desktop PC, the Yoga AI07 Desktop. The 27-inch PC comes with an incredible rotating screen which can be set up in portrait or landscape mode and a detachable camera.

The adjustable display allows you to rotate the screen from 0 to 20-degrees and the desktop comes with JBL speakers for optimal sound quality.

The Yoga AI07 Desktop ships with NVIDIA RTX2060 discrete graphics and it allows users to seamlessly share storage between the AIO and a notebook with just one cable.

The YOGA AIO 7 will hit Australian shores from April 2021 starting at $2,499.

Lenovo is also releasing three new Legion notebooks in 2021 aimed at serious gamers. First up is the Legion 7, which is powered by the next-gen AMD Ryzen Mobile Processors and has graphics supported by next-gen NVIDIA GeForce RTX Laptop GPUs.

The 16-inch Legion 7 weighs 2.5kg and has an incredible three-millisecond response time and a 165Hz refresh rate for full-throttle gaming.

Next up is the Legion 5 Pro, with more horsepower for those gamers who need even more capacity in a notebook. It is powered by the next-gen AMD Ryzen Mobile Processor and incredible memory and storage.

It also has a super-fast response time of three-milliseconds and a similar 165Hz refresh rate.

Lastly, Lenovo has managed to combine gaming with lightweight with the Lenovo Legion Slim 7.

At only 1.9kg, the Legion Slim 7 has a 15.6-inch display, the same response time and refresh rates of its heavier siblings and 3200 MHz of memory.
