Leak Unveils Apple’s 2020 iPhone 12 Lineup

With consumer excitement mounting, tech titans are seeing an increase in leaks over the coming months plaguing their upcoming smartphones.

And it seems that Apple is the latest victim, with 3D mockup videos released of what leaksters claim to be all three iPhone 12 models.

Fittingly, the line up is reportedly set to feature 5G handsets with big camera feature upgrades and two phones that will be released into the affordable, mid-tier category.

The video leak displays different iPhone 12 models measures 5.3-inches, 5.9-inches and a  6.4-inch iPhone 12 Pro – the most premium device in the range.

The first two models are set to have the same camera set up, with the Pro model including an addition sensor.

The mockup iPhones are shown alongside the iPhone 11 range for comparison.

A second video from the same account goes on to reveal the mock-up for a 6.5-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max, referencing it alongside the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

According to Mac Otakara, the new iPhone 12 Pro Max could feature a Smart Connector that consumers have seen featured on the iPad Pro, as well as it being compatible with the Apple Pencil.

If the video leaks are credible, consumers can expect a potential four variants in iPhone 12 models as well as the mid-tier SE 2 – although the latter is rumoured for a 2021 release and is set to make a comeback equipped with a bigger screen.

There are also reports that Apple will bring back Touch ID next year, which is set to become a sole feature for low-tier devices, located in the power button as usual.

But the devices are also rumoured to drop the Face ID and will instead sport an LCD screen instead of an OLED – but these are just speculations, for now.

Apple has declined to comment on the details of this article.
