Happy Hunting: Deeper Maps Fish On Your Smartphone
Fishing is much like a pagan religion. We speculate on the best spots, sacrifice the finest baits and then pray to the heavens the big fish bite. Then, after hours of labouring, we often retire home with little reward.
Although still enjoyable, more fun could be milked from the sport if we could see what was beneath the water line. Imagine being able to see where fishes are congregating, and then leveraging your fishing game to suit. If only such a gizmo existed…
We’re excited to announce such a device is in development. The aptly called Deeper resembles a large sinker (albeit a stylish one) that omits sonar waves and maps the ocean bed and fish location. It then relays this information to your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth.
Water and shock resistant, it’ll front waters up to 40 metres deep and then chart areas spanning a 150 feet radius.
The plotted info is relayed to your smartphone or tablet in an easy to understand display, which is also characterised by a versatile and social interface.
Currently Deeper is in development, but if you’d like more info check out the YouTube video below.
