Kogan Unveils Agora 9 with 4,000 mAh Battery for $169

Kogan.com has unveiled the latest addition to their smartphone range, the Agora 9, featuring a long battery life and numerous other features at a budget price. The handset costs $169 and will be available in November.

Featuring a massive 4000 mAh battery, the Agora 9 should provide users with battery all day long, even with heavy usage.

The Agora 9 comes with an 8MP camera on both the front and back plus a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Thanks to Netflix and YouTube and every other streaming app, most of us are watching our favourite shows and videos on our smartphones, the Agora 9 has an 18:9 5.45″ HD resolution IPS display for a more engaging, immersive viewing experience.

Kogan has upgraded to the latest Android Oreo operating system as well as a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage – with the option to add extra via the microSD card reader.

The Agora 9 supports 4G+2G dual sim, customers will not be able to use the second sim here in Australia, but if travelling overseas where 2G mobile networks are still in operation it will be useful.

The Kogan Agora 9 will begin shipping to customers on November 27th, with a bonus $17 Kogan Mobile plan included in the $169 price tag. It’s available for pre-order now from Kogan.com.au.
