Kogan Launches 23GB Mobile Plan For 99c

Set to significantly intensify competition in the mobile data space, Kogan Mobile has today unveiled its latest monthly promotion – 23GB for 99 cents, for the first 30 days.

The highly competitive offer – a 98% discount – is available for new Kogan Mobile customers until June 21st.

Powered by Vodafone’s 4G network, Kogan Mobile claims to make mobile and data access “affordable for all Aussies” – news which comes as telco giants such as Optus and Telstra warn of growing margin pressures.

Kogan rival, TPG Mobile, is set to launch later this year, with an ‘unlimited’ data offering free of charge, for the first six months (before reverting to $9.99/month). Several analysts have slammed the telco, asserting the plan is unlikely to profit money.

For a limited time, new customers can purchase any of Kogan Mobile’s monthly mobile phone plans for 99 cents for the first 30 days – it’s ‘Small’ (3GB), ‘Medium’ (7GB), ‘Large’ (16GB) and ‘Extra Large’ (23GB).

All plans include unlimited standard data and calls.

Further information and full T&Cs is available on Kogan Mobile’s website here.
