Kindle E-Readers Now Available At JB Hi-Fi In Partnership With Amazon

Amazon have announced JB Hi-Fi as an official retailer of Amazon Kindle products in Australia as the retailer heads into the busy Christmas period.

The latest versions of the Kindle and the Kindle Paperwhite, as well as a range of accessories, will be available on the JB Hi-Fi website and in selected stores.

“We know Australians absolutely love their Kindle e-readers and this is why we wanted to ensure that they are even more available to Australian e-reading enthusiasts by making JB Hi-Fi an official retailer,” said Scott Harrington, Director Amazon Device Sales.

Amazon’s Kindle Paperwhite is the company’s best selling Kindle device, and features a high-resolution 300 PPI display and an adjustable front light. The eighth generation Kindle is thinner and lighter than previous generations, and features a touchscreen display and Bluetooth support.

Both devices include batteries that last for weeks and glare-free screens that are easily visible even in bright sunlight.

“The well-loved Amazon Kindle devices will be a great addition to our wide range of entertainment products, and we are excited to offer lovers of literature the opportunity to treat themselves or a loved one with an Amazon Kindle e-reader this Christmas,” said Cameron Trainor, Merchandise Director at JB Hi-Fi.

The Kindle (RRP $109) and the Kindle Paperwhite (RRP $179) are both available now in selected JB Hi-Fi stores or at www.jbhifi.com.au
