 Announced overnight, the 5.5″ LG spectastic smartphone wont be here til August.
Outright price is A$799 – $100 cheaper than rival Samsung S5, that went on sale last month.
G3 also does one better on screens than S5 – if bigger is your thing – with a larger 5.5″ Quad HD display (2560 x 1440) with 538ppi and twice the resolution of Full HD, quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and a 13 mp camera with Optical Image Stabilizer Plus, Smart Notice personal assistant and smart key board. G3 has oodles of more clever stuff, read here.
G3 comes in 5 shades but only one – the bog standard ‘Metallic Black’ – is listed on LG Australia website.
Telstra was the first to announce it will be selling G3 in August, but so will Optus and Vodafone, LG confirmed today.
The spectastic G3 will be available from the beginning of August and outright at retailers, also.
Telco pricing and pre-sales will be announced in July.
The pricing of new G3 accessories also announced overnight – including Bluetooth headset and wireless charger, will be confirmed soon.
