After announcing its upgraded Bar Series back in June, JBL has now launched the lineup in Australia, offering five new soundbars with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and AI-powered audio enhancements.

The range, led by the flagship Bar 1300MK2, delivers immersive, cinema-grade sound for home entertainment setups of all sizes.

With five models to choose from, also featuring the 1000MK2, 800MK2, 500MK2 and 300MK2, the series is powered by HARMAN’s MultiBeam 3.0 technology, which delivers room-filling surround sound from a single soundbar.

Support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X ensures true 3D audio immersion, while select models feature detachable wireless rear speakers for a flexible, cable-free setup.

JBL has also introduced several new proprietary technologies to the range.

SmartDetails enhances subtle audio nuances for lifelike realism, while AI Sound Boost (exclusive to the flagship Bar 1300MK2) optimises bass and clarity at any volume.

PureVoice 2.0 ensures dialogue remains crisp and clear, while a refined new design helps each bar blend effortlessly into any living room.

Leading the lineup, the Bar 1300MK2 features six up-firing drivers, a dual 8-inch subwoofer and JBL’s new One Commander box, which provides a wireless, lossless HDMI/USB connection to the TV.

All models run on the JBL One Platform, offering seamless Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Google Cast and Spotify Connect integration. Users can stream high-resolution music, personalise EQ settings and update software via the JBL One App.

The JBL Bar 1300MK2 is available exclusively at Harvey Norman, while the Bar 1000MK2, 800MK2, 500MK2 and 300MK2 are available at leading retailers and on the JBL website.
