JBL has added two new models to its growing PartyBox speaker line-up, introducing the PartyBox 330 and PartyBox 130 as part of its latest push into portable entertainment audio.

The new speakers focus heavily on high-volume playback, integrated lighting effects, and karaoke-style features, targeting users who want more than a standard Bluetooth speaker for parties and social gatherings.

The larger PartyBox 330 is positioned as the more powerful option, delivering 280W RMS output through dual 6.5-inch woofers and twin 25mm tweeters. JBL says the speaker is designed for larger outdoor events, backyard parties, and tailgates, with a telescopic handle and oversized wheels included to make transport easier.

Battery life is rated at up to 18 hours, while a quick 10-minute charge can reportedly provide around two hours of playback. JBL has also made the battery replaceable, allowing users to swap it out when needed.

The smaller PartyBox 130 takes a more compact approach but still offers 200W RMS output through dual 5.25-inch woofers and twin tweeters. It includes a foldable carry handle and up to 15 hours of battery life, with fast charging capable of delivering around 80 minutes of playback from a short charge.

Both models include JBL’s AI Sound Boost and Smart EQ Mode systems, which automatically adjust audio performance depending on playback conditions. JBL has also updated the lighting system, adding new ripple-style lighting effects and strobe edge lights that sync with music playback.

Connectivity features are largely shared across both speakers, including Bluetooth 6.0, Auracast multi-speaker pairing, USB-C lossless audio support, optical input, 3.5mm auxiliary connections, and compatibility with JBL’s EasySing microphones. Dual microphone and guitar inputs are also included for karaoke and live performance use.

The speakers are rated IPX4 for splash resistance and can be managed through the JBL One App, which allows users to adjust audio settings and lighting effects remotely.

The JBL PartyBox 330 is priced at $629.95, while the more compact PartyBox 130 will retail for $449.95.
