Is JB Hi-Fi Set To Start Selling Hearing Aids?
Sennheiser has launched two new sets of over-the-counter hearing aids, meaning JB Hi-Fi and other consumer tech store will soon be able to cater to the hard-of-hearing.
Sennheiserâs consumer audio division was acquired by Swiss hearing aid giant Sonova early last year, making it inevitable that the company branched into hearing aids.

The All-Day Clear (above) and All Day Clear Slim (pictured below) will be available from Sennheiser’s own store from mid-July, and will retail for roughly A$2,060 and $2,200, respectively.
The differences between the two are design-based, with the Slim being the slimmer model, as the name suggests. The regular model fits like a standard hearing aid, whereas the Slim features an ear-bud style that nestles in-ear.

An app allows you to fine-tune the audio to your requirements, while Sonova’s hearing technology “focuses specifically on speech intelligibility”, with an “intelligent scene detection” filtering out background noise for clearer directional audio.
The battery life is 16 hours for both pairs.
