Indi Imports On A Roll, New Q Acoustic Speakers, Loewe TV’s To Be Sold By Major Retailers
Melbourne based Indi Imports has held their first dealer day, and among the products to be revealed was a world first with the revealing of a of a new pair of Q Acoustic speakers that will be officially launched globally on Friday.
According to Indi CEO Paul Riachi the future for the specialist dealer is more about “selective ranging” of products as opposed to carrying a large volume of products.
He said that Indi imports was growing and that the products they are distributing including Q Acoustic, Epsilon and Canton speakers, Cyrus Amps and cables from QED as well as speakers from M& K would not be available on “Amazon or E Bay”.
Currently the Company is building out a new warehouse as well as back end system to facilitate the expansion of the Company.
According to Ulf Kampfer, International Sales Manager for German TV Brand Loewe he is confident that Indi will “significantly” expand sales of Loewe TV’s in Australia with an announcement set to be made shortly that two major CE retailers will range the brand this year.
It was also announced that several new Loewe TV models will be launched in Australia including an OLED model in a stylish retro wooden frame. According to Riachi, the new models will be competitive when it comes to pricing up against similar premium TV’s from Samsung, LG and Panasonic.
It was also announced that Loewe will start selling attach sound systems in Australia this year.
George Dexter the CEO of Q Acoustics one of the most successful UK audio brands also said that since they moved their business to be distributed by Indi that sales in Australia had increased.
A new speaker set to be released on Friday is set to accelerate sales in Australia.
According to Riachi the addition of two new staff next month including a “well known” national sales director will help boost the Companies revenues in Australia.
