British hi-fi brand iFi Audio has expanded its entry-level ZEN Air lineup, introducing three new products aimed at improving audio quality across vinyl, desktop and wireless listening setups.

Headlining the update is the ZEN Air Phono 2, marking the first time the range has directly targeted vinyl enthusiasts.

The phono stage delivers highly accurate RIAA equalisation rated at ±0.15dB, alongside an ultra-low noise floor of -151dBV. iFi says this helps preserve subtle detail in recordings while minimising background interference. The unit supports both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges, and includes a subsonic filter designed to reduce distortion from record warping without cutting bass frequencies.

For desktop users, the ZEN Air DAC 2 brings a series of incremental but notable upgrades. It features a Cirrus Logic DAC – previously used in iFi’s portable gear – now making its debut in the entry-level desktop range.

The company claims improvements in clarity and dynamics, while a new 4.4mm balanced headphone output boosts power to 484mW, roughly three times that of its predecessor. Additional features such as XBass+ and PowerMatch aim to enhance low-end performance and drive more demanding headphones.

Rounding out the lineup is the ZEN Air Blue 2, focused on wireless audio. It supports Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Lossless and LDAC, targeting near CD-quality streaming. A three-stage internal design separates signal reception, conversion and amplification, which iFi says improves overall audio fidelity compared to single-chip solutions.

The expanded ZEN Air range positions iFi more competitively in the sub-$200 audio market, where brands like FiiO, Schiit and Topping dominate. All three products are available now through authorised retailers, with global pricing starting at around $129 USD.
