Hisense made a big splash at IFA Berlin 2025, being recognised with nine honours across home entertainment, smart appliances and design.

The haul reinforces the Chinese manufacturer’s bid to position itself as both a display powerhouse and a leader in AI-driven smart living.

Topping the list was the L9Q Laser TV, which was named Best in Home Entertainment at the IFA Innovation Awards 2025.

It was praised for its ultra-short throw design, vivid colour reproduction, and theatre-grade viewing that delivers an immersive cinematic experience in the living room.

The world’s largest RGB-MiniLED TV, the 116-inch UXQ, was recognised as an honouree for redefining big-screen immersion.

Other nods in home entertainment included the 136-inch MXQUV and the Rollable Laser TV, signalling Hisense’s determination to stay ahead in premium display technology.

In appliances, the U8 Series S Pro Split Air Conditioner was honoured for its smart motion detection, airflow control, and sterilisation features aimed at delivering cleaner, more comfortable living.

Meanwhile, the Hisense 5i heat pump washer-dryer took home the Tech for Good Social Impact honour.

It’s unsurprising the 116-inch RGB-MiniLED TV was recognised for ‘big-screen immersion’

Hisense is billing it as the industry’s first three-inverter front-loading combo with “AAAA” energy efficiency, a clear marker of the industry’s pivot toward sustainability.

Design innovation was another strong suit. The VIDDA AI Audio Glasses won Best in Design, while the X-Zone Master and the Hisense S7 Dishwasher, featuring AI washing tech, were both recognised as Design Honourees.

The nine honourees show how Hisense’s “AI Your Life” vision is playing out across categories.

Its TVs and laser projectors focus on immersive entertainment, its appliances emphasise efficiency and sustainability, and its design-led products deliver AI-assisted everyday convenience.

The through-line is tech that combines intelligence, sustainability, and style.

Australian pricing and release dates are yet to be announced.
