LG Electronics has teased its next multi-screen phone for IFA 2019, hot off the heels of its dual-screen V50 ThinQ 5G.
Revealed in an IFA 2019 promo video, some commentators claim the handset appears to have not two, but three screens.
The trailer showcases the device’s multi-tasking capabilities, from gaming to navigation and more.
When both screens are closed, the exterior reveals a smaller third screen with date and time information.
The news comes as several smartphone makers (e.g. Samsung and Huawei) unveil their first foldable phones.
LG’s V50 ThinQ 5G supports a case with a detachable second screen, transforming the device into a dual screen phone.
Some commentators claim the IFA 2019 video teases another attachment for the V50 ThinQ, whilst others question whether its the new V60 ThinQ.
LG has thus far steered away from foldable phones, focusing instead on its rollable OLED TV panels.
