Chinese-based Huawei has reportedly accelerated the development of its foldable smartphone, with intention of beating Korean rival, Samsung, to launch.
According to Taiwanese trade publication, DigiTimes, Huawei is looking to release its foldable smartphone in November this year – reportedly around the time Samsung will start volume production of its device.
Huawei has reportedly partnered with BOE Technology for its foldable smartphone’s development. The device is tipped to feature 8″ in-folding OLED flexible panels.
BOE has reportedly received orders to develop four smartphone foldable panels from two smartphone vendors.
