Huawei Launch Mate 20 with Epic Light Show On World’s Tallest Building
Huawei lit up the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, with an epic light show in Dubai last night to launch their hotly anticipated smartphone, the new Mate 20 series.
At over 828 metres and more than 160 stories, Burj Khalifa holds the record for the tallest building in the world, the tallest free-standing structure in the world, the highest number of storeys, highest observation deck, longest elevator travel distance and more.
Definitely not one for those who fear heights.
Instead of throwing powerpoint slides with a projector, the light show featured gorgeous projections of the highlights of the Mate 20 series including fast charging, fingerprint scanner and LEICA camera.
The Mate Series made further headlines recently over the decision to not sell the “iPhone Killer” in America.
Landing in Australia November 1, Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro will retail for AU$1,599, with the base Mate 20 selling for AU$1,099.
Further information including device specifications is available on Huawei’s website here.
