Hisense has expanded its Australian projector range with three new laser models aimed at portable entertainment, dedicated home cinema and gaming.

The new line-up includes the P1 Laser Projector, PX4 PRO and C3 Ultra, with all three arriving at Australian retailers from September.

The P1 is the most portable model in the range and uses Hisense’s RGB Triple Colour Laser Technology. It can project images up to 150 inches at Full HD resolution and reaches 1,000 ANSI lumens of brightness.

A built-in battery provides up to 2.5 hours of viewing, giving users the option to move the projector between rooms or use it in outdoor and temporary setups. Optical zoom and AutoMagic AI Adjusting 3.0 are designed to simplify image positioning and setup.

The P1 is priced at $1,799 RRP in Australia.

For more permanent home cinema installations, the PX4 PRO uses Hisense’s LPU Digital Laser Engine 3.0 and a Dynamic IRIS system, with claimed contrast of up to 6500:1.

It delivers up to 3,500 ANSI lumens and can project images as large as 200 inches. Support includes IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

The PX4 PRO is also targeting gamers, with support for up to 240Hz at 2K, FreeSync Premium and low-latency performance.
It will sell for $4,499 RRP.

The C3 Ultra sits at the top of the new range, with up to 4,000 ANSI lumens of peak brightness and screen sizes of up to 300 inches.

It combines a gimbal design with optical zoom and lens shift, giving users greater flexibility over placement. It also features AutoMagic AI Adjusting 3.0, an integrated subwoofer, Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced support, with audio tuned by Devialet.

Gaming features include 1ms input lag, VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium.

The C3 Ultra is priced at $4,999 RRP.

Hisense says the three new models are intended to broaden its laser projector range across different use cases, from portable big-screen viewing through to premium home theatre and gaming setups.
