Hisense is preparing to launch its most powerful long-throw laser projector yet in Australia, with the new XR10 set to arrive later this month following its debut at CES 2026.

The company is positioning the XR10 as a premium home cinema option aimed at users wanting a large-screen viewing experience without sacrificing brightness or picture quality. One of the standout features is its 6000 ANSI Lumens output, which Hisense claims makes it the brightest long-throw laser projector currently available in its category.

Unlike many traditional projectors that struggle in bright rooms, the XR10 has been designed to handle a wider range of viewing conditions, including well-lit living spaces and outdoor entertainment areas. Hisense says the projector is suitable for everything from daytime sports viewing to gaming sessions and movie nights outside.

The projector also introduces a liquid cooling system; a feature not commonly found in consumer projector models. According to the company, the cooling technology helps maintain stable brightness and consistent image quality during long viewing sessions.

Hisense has equipped the XR10 with optical zoom and lens shift functionality, allowing users to adjust screen size and positioning more easily without physically moving the projector. The setup process is further assisted by the company’s AutoMagic AI Adjusting 3.0 technology, alongside QuadCam and ToF Smart Sense systems that automatically fine-tune alignment and picture settings in real time.

On the visual side, the XR10 supports both IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision formats. An advanced iris system is also included, delivering up to 60,000:1 dynamic contrast for deeper blacks and brighter highlights across films, games, and live content.

Audio has also been given significant attention, with sound engineering handled in partnership with Devialet and Opera de Paris. Hisense says the built-in speaker system is designed to provide a more cinematic sound experience without requiring external audio equipment.

Alongside the XR10, Hisense is continuing to expand its projector range with the C3 4K TriChroma Projector, a more flexible model aimed at users wanting portable large-screen entertainment. The C3 supports projection sizes ranging from 65 inches to 300 inches and uses triple-laser technology for 4K visuals with enhanced colour performance.

The C3 also includes a rotating gimbal-style design that supports 360-degree horizontal movement and 135-degree vertical projection, giving users more flexibility when positioning the device. Automatic image correction and focus tools are built in to simplify setup.

The Hisense C3 is available now in Australia for $3,499 through retailers including JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Harvey Norman and Bing Lee.

The XR10 will officially launch in Australia on 14 May 2026 with a retail price of $9,999. It will be sold through JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and specialist retailer, VideoPro.
