According to sources the strategy behind the Harvey Norman owned 2nds World stores are based on getting cheap stock from suppliers and then disrupting the discounting strategy of online operators such as Kogan, Amazon, Greys Online and Catch of The Day.
They also aim to take on JB Hi Fi and The Good Guys with the stores being positioned as ‘Discount’ destinations with heavy promotion of discounted stock.
