Haier Europe Showcases Smart Home Ecosystem at IFA Berlin
Haier Europe, part of the world’s largest household appliance company Haier Smart Home, will present its “Naturally Connected” vision at IFA Berlin across a 3,000 square meter immersive exhibition space from September 5-9.
CEO Neil Tunstall will inaugurate the company’s presence at 3:00 PM on September 4 with a press conference at stand 101 in Hall 3.1.
The exhibition centres on sustainability and smart home integration through the company’s hOn app platform, which now supports over 70% of Haier Europe’s product portfolio.
The “Naturally Connected” concept aims to create connections between technology, people, and the environment while reducing environmental impact through innovation.
Haier Europe has achieved a 98% waste recovery rate with Zero Waste certification for Turkish plants, targets 60% renewable energy by 2025, and has reduced water usage by over 50% since 2020.
The exhibition features a symbolic hOn Tree at its centre, representing the digital platform that connects and manages over 30 product families, including energy management systems.
The app utilises artificial intelligence and strategic partnerships to offer personalised smart home experiences with predictive maintenance and energy optimisation features.
Each brand area includes dedicated hOn Trees and immersive living scenarios where visitors can interact with innovative products from Candy, Hoover, Haier, and Care+Protect brands.

Candy celebrates its 80th anniversary with new washing machine designs featuring maximum garment care flexibility and the Pro Dry 700 tumble dryer’s Active Scent System that releases fragrance through integrated tablets.
Kitchen innovations include ovens with No Preheat and FullMenu features, while cooling products feature extended Panorama Light and Circle Fresh technologies.
Hoover presents renewed branding with home cleaning solutions, including the HW3 Turbo Clean scrubber-dryer and HF6 Turbo Sense cordless vacuum with bidirectional dirt pickup.
The brand debuts in glass and fabric cleaning with the HS5 Spot Wash&Dry multi-purpose cleaner.
Haier showcases advanced appliance technologies, including Bionic Steam ovens, Heat Pump washing systems for energy efficiency, and Biovitae UV-free LED lighting for dishwasher sanitisation.
Refrigeration innovations include Ice&Water Enhance management systems and Protein Bank drawers for extended food freshness.
The exhibition also features Casarte design products, new Air Fryer series, and the I-Master Series 5 coffee machine, with live demonstrations by Chef Ambassador Tommaso Arrigoni.
The comprehensive display demonstrates Haier Europe’s strategy of combining technological innovation with environmental responsibility through interconnected smart home ecosystems and sustainable manufacturing practices.
