Google Teases Pixel 10 Pro Fold
Google has dropped the first official look at its upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold, just a week before its Made by Google event on August 20.
The 30-second teaser, released on YouTube, shows the foldable from multiple angles, and it’s looking a lot like last year’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
The clip offers glimpses of the phone’s hinge, the unfolded inner display and a close-up of the large rear camera block.
The showcased ‘Moonstone’ finish matches earlier leaks, though other colours, including green and gold, are also expected.
While Google has not revealed specs, leaks suggest the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could be the first foldable smartphone to feature full IP68 water and dust resistance.
The phone is also tipped to get a larger 5,050mAh battery (up from 4,650mAh in its predecessor), the new Tensor G5 chipset, and AI-powered camera tools such as ‘Camera Coach’ for photo tips and conversational editing via Google’s Gemini AI.

The design appears largely iterative, which makes sense – the Pixel 9 Pro Fold already switched to a taller, narrower form factor to better compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series. Refinements rather than a radical redesign are expected for the Pixel 10.
The Made By Google event is set to showcase the entire Pixel 10 lineup, including the base Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL.
Rumoured features across the range include Qi2 magnetic charging support (potentially compatible with iPhone MagSafe accessories), improved camera hardware and Android 16 out of the box.
Pricing is expected to remain similar to the Pixel 9 series despite global tech tariffs, which would see the Pixel 10 Pro Fold positioned at the top end of the range alongside the Pro XL.
Release timing, however, remains uncertain. German site WinFuture claims the Pixel 10 Pro Fold might not hit shelves until October.
With Google itself now fuelling the hype, there is little mystery left about what the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will look like.
The real reveal next week will be whether the upgrades are enough to push it past Samsung’s foldables, or if this is simply Google perfecting an already solid design.
