Google Assures Pixel 2 Reboot Bug Will Be Fixed

A representative for Google says it is fixing the current issue with its new Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL where the phones randomly reboot.

On a Google Product Forum, Orrin a community manager made this statement to those disgruntled over the recent reboot problem: “Hey all, thanks for all the info you have provided and for those who have sent over bug reports. We want to let you all know that we have identified a fix which will be rolling out in the coming weeks. Thanks.”

No other information was supplied on why this issue is occurring and what the actual fix is.

In the past, users have reported other issues including screen, audio and quality control bugs.

Pre-ordering for the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL was made available in Australia in late October.
