Live Melbourne Cup, Right Here

Today the Melbourne Cup kicks off at Flemington Racecourse – starting at 3PM AEDT, 2pm in Brisbane, 2:30pm for Adelaide and 12 noon in Perth.

The Melbourne Cup will broadcast free-to-air on Channel Seven, with coverage commencing at 10am AEDT, and the main race starting at 3pm.

Viewers can live stream the 2017 Melbourne Cup on Channel Seven’s website.

For viewers watching on television via Foxtel, the Cup will broadcast live on Fox Sports, Sky Racing 1 (Channel 519) and Racing.com (Channel 529).

For those who enjoy streaming through social media – or are currently outside of Australia – the best way to watch the Melbourne Cup is through a Twitter live stream.

Channel 7 is also offering online live coverage, however, this might not work outside of Australia, or if a suitable VPN is not setup at your location.

For viewers who want to watch the Melbourne Cup on their tablet or mobile phone, Twitter’s live stream, the PLUS7 app for iOS and Android are recommended options.

For those who have access to Foxtel, the provider’s Foxtel Go app is also suitable for mobile viewing.

There are a plethora of ways for Australians to conveniently enjoy what is heralded one of the most popular horse racing events in the world.
