iLuv Dump Bush,In Favour Of Powermove

In a move aimed at increasing sales of their products in Australia award winning New York based Company iLuv Creative Technologies has appointed Powermove as their distributor in Australia.

Currently Bush use the European Blaupunkt, Bush and in the past Grundig names on their products in an effort to create the impression that the consumer electronic products they are buying are European designed and made when in reality they are 100% designed and made by a large Chinese Company.

David Vanderkley, Powermove Accessory Product Manager. “ILuv brings its world-class style to an evolving market where consumers are demanding a more personalised product offering. Powermove will leverage its knowledge of the Australian consumer to make sure iLuv products have the right exposure using a multichannel marketing strategy.”

ChannelNews has been told that one of the reasons that iLuv made the decision to change distributors was because sales in Australia had declined and that Bush was putting “very little” into marketing their products in Australia.

iLuv who have a major stand at CES is a premium provider of accessories for the mobile lifestyle. Their range includes protective cases, speakers, headphones and power products. They compete head on with the likes of Belkin and Logitech.

“We are very excited to work with Powermove in introducing iLuv products to Australia,” said William Otte, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at iLuv Creative Technology. Our partnership with Powermove will allow consumers in Australia to rediscover the accessories that best complement their lifestyles.”

iLuv’s products are available at Big W from July 2014 and Apple and specialist stores.

Since inception, iLuv has amassed a total of 42 major awards including 6 Red Dot Awards, 4 iF product design awards, 8 Good Design Awards, and 24 CES Innovation Awards.

iLuv was also recognized with 2 Global iBrand Top 20 awards.
