Fitbit Release ‘Versa 2’ With Alexa In Oz
Following last month’s unveiling, Fitbit has now released its new Versa 2 smartwatch in Australia, available from JB Hi-Fi and Good Guys plus its own website.
The Versa 2 can be purchased for $329 for the standard model, while the special edition (which comes with a woven strap and 3 months of Fitbit Premium service included) will set you back $379.95.
Fitbit Premium, which provides detailed personalised fitness and health advice, costs $14.99/month or $129.99/year.
The device features new improvements including Alexa support, an AMOLED display, faster processor and longer battery life (5+ days), as well as online payment capabilities and music storage.
The Versa 2 is also swim-proof and water resistant to 50m, and while there is no GPS built-in, users can link their phone’s GPS to the watch via the Fitbit app.
Fitbit’s Aria Air smart scales, which is a low-cost Bluetooth scale for tracking weight and calculates BMI, is also now available for $99.95.
