Fetch TV Snares 6 BBC Channels With New ‘BBC Living’

In a bid to further intensify competition against Foxtel, local pay-TV provider, Fetch TV, has today expanded its partnership with BBC Studios, launching new lifestyle channel ‘BBC Living’.

The addition increases Fetch TV’s BBC portfolio to six channels, complimenting BBC First, BBC Knowledge, BBC UKTV, BBC CBeebies and BBC World News.

Launching on May 1st, BBC Living is available on Fetch’s Knowledge Pack ($6/month 18 channels), Ultimate Pack ($20/month 50 channels) and the ‘grandfathered’ Fetch Entertainment Pack.

Fetch TV claims BBC Living has been exclusively programmed for the Australian audience, with a mix of British content.

Programs include cooking shows from Gordan Ramsay and Raymond Blanc, plus lifestyle home shows such as Peter Andre’s 60 Minute Makeover and Marbella Mansions.

BBC Living is tailored to bring a “wealth of inspiration” for “home, family and life”.

With BBC Living, Fetch TV CEO, Scott Lorsen, affirms subscribers are the “big winners”, further enhancing the provider’s “industry leading” $6 ‘skinny packs’:

“We are delighted to expand our partnership with BBC Studios with the introduction of this exciting new channel – BBC Living. Once again, our subscribers are the big winners, as Fetch adds more quality programming to our industry leading $6 “skinny packs”

“If you love the BBC, there is no better service for you than Fetch.”

BBC Studios Australia and New Zealand MD, Jon Penn, states its growing partnership with Fetch TV forms part of its strategy to reach new audiences.
