EXCLUSIVE:Rio Sound & Vision Expanding With 16,000Sqm Aquisition
Melbourne based retailer Rio Sound & Vision is expanding with opening of a new operation in Brighton that is more boutique and lifestyle than their Preston store, they have also purchased a major piece of land for a new warehouse and mega store operation claims CEO Paul Riachi.
According to Riachi the business has acquired 16,000 square meters of land at Keysborough in Victoria, where management are set to build out a major warehouse and showroom operation that will include new home theatres and entertainment offerings as well as a premium appliances demonstration area for a new range of Loewe coffee machines wine fridges and a yet to be announced range of new Loewe products.
Riachi said “It has taken us a year to get our Preston Victoria location to where we want it to be. Now we have steady foot traffic during the week and a massive amount of traffic at weekends. the location is now known, and people are attracted to the location because it’s a little different.” he said.
“As for our Brighton showroom it’s been set up to be a premium brand location with a fit out that allows us to demonstrate premium products to an audience that buy premium products and are looking for quality over a discount”.
“With all our businesses we own the properties they are in, and this is a big advantage in the current market” he said.
