Ex-Telstra Exec Irving Signs On As NBN Chief Strategy Boss

Former Telstra executive Will Irving is making the move to NBN Co, where later this year he will replace JB Rousselot as its chief strategy and transformation officer.

Initially working in legal roles at Telstra, Irving moved into top management positions as business group MD, retail acting group executive, wholesale group exec, and most recently interim CEO of the budding Telstra InfraCo.

He left Telstra in October last year after 20 years. At NBN Co he has scored a warm welcome from CEO Stephen Rue who said: “Will’s proven track record in telecommunications will allow NBN Co to evolve our operating model and maintain a sharp focus on our customer-led strategy. His depth of corporate experience and leadership will be critical to help NBN Co transform into a full-scale service delivery company.”
